Such a great day at the @uofgshw.bsky.social away day! Lots of amazing speakers, ending the day with the @buildrecovery.bsky.social Lego community garden session.
Nine Lego gardens grouped together to create a community garden. The gardens all have trees, some with flowers. Two have water features. Two have vegetables. One has lots of animals and a shed. The final garden has a bridge with a shark underneath. A Lego garden with a blue pool, surrounded with flowers and trees. There is a Lego explorer in the garden too.

A wholesome day spent doon Girvan shore. The best part was finding mint choc chip ice cream - forever my favourite flavour!
There are black railings, behind which you can see the beach and the sea. In the background is the Ailsa Craig, a small island off the west coast of Scotland. The sky is a blue/grey colour. Currently me:
A green crocodile and a red panda are sitting facing each other. Eeek, got my first ‘Dr McEwan’ letter today!! PS: if you haven’t already, join a union - even if you’re “just” a PhD student!

Great morning at the DRNS Words Matter seminar! Some really interesting discussions around the words we use within services/research, their meanings and being mindful of words we use relating to those with lived/living experience of drug use in different spaces. #AcademicSky
