I can't prove it definitively. However i have some major suspicions considering it was the only box in the store, developed squeaky trigger springs within two weeks, had constant tracking issues, and died within the month i purchased it. To their credit i was refunded fully, but it never sat right.

Ah yes the same company that I'm fairly certain sold me a used display model Vive headset as "new", cant say I'm surprised.

Well all III's got HGH and puberty starters to hyper aggressively build muscle and bone in tandem with the actual chrysanthemum drugs,no lasting implants like the pellet the II's have. Probably just be more like a post-puberty transition, which probably would be smooth sailing since future tech.

Well the Gamma's are all barely functioning psychopaths unless they get their stabilizers and ONI keeps them on a tight leash, but any remaining CAT-2's might have the option?

I assume it might be a bit harder for Spartan II's to do it since their hormones are all messed up in general from the pellet in their lymph node. But also i would guess that ONI would have a vested interest in keeping their killing machine at peak efficiency and look into if it was requested.

Pretty sure if you have the technology to turn a human into a super soldier (especially the more reliable and safer S4 procedure), you probably also have the technology to trans their gender. 🤷♂️

Its also a conclusion a couple of the primarchs came to on their own iirc. Plus with the knowledge from malcador confessing to that dying lady (unless he was lying) that they expected the heresy to happen at some point, it all lines right up.

The existence of female custodes also makes the lack of female space marines an unironically interesting plot point chuds are missing out on. It ultimately reinforces the fact that marines were made quick, dirty, and to be disposed of when no longer needed. The emperor knew how, but chose NOT to.
