Basically a political solution lacking an legal and procedural way to achieve it and a way to measure the desired outcome with a auto-sunsetting clause if the outcome is measurable negative should not be seriously presented by media.

I’ve been thinking about how a political discourse could be fixed or how a productive one looks like.

Somehow emotional appeal or decisions have to be reduced in favor of measurable real life outcomes.

Hm, I don’t know. On one hand it is important to get all available options and political viewpoints presented…

I guess the issue is rather that insane, illegal or just positions that would bring massive changes/negatives are presented as equal.

The breadth presented lacks the corresponding depth.

But it’s not implemented in the major networks because their business model thrives on any engagement. And negative engagement is much easier conjured up.

That’s basically a algorithm that completely disincentivizes posts with a potential „negative“ engagement rate (in regards to negative seen feelings).
Maybe pairs with the multiple thematic timeline/feeds you have here.
