This is incredibly hype!

That's a given for sure. Top that off with the streamer being in desktop to significantly help with performance.

Makes me wonder what the club stream utility this year was like. Prior years it was multiple players providing their own individual streams with custom drones. Way more performant.

That sneak peak at Luma Fest was a blast to see! Was very impressive even then.

It might not actually be all that great for clubs given the performance requirement to render the same space multiple times over with all avatars shown. For an event world it's far less demand because the focus is on a handful of people at most in a world that's also not as demanding to render.

This is the first year we integrated the control room properly into the world. Of course, for most attendees, it looked like our sleepy creature failed to stop us from getting robbed instead.

If there's a github for a replacement system, that'd be an excellent thing to have started up to eventually be comparable to CyanTrigger. I'd say you easily have a platform to make such an initial shout-out and start a community to take stride if there isn't one already underway.

That said, I never would have made the dive without having editor tools like what CyanTrigger sounds like it provided. Originally built toggUltima (pun of toggle and ultima from the FF series) aiming for just that before falling into the dunning kruger effect.

I dove into UdonSharp head first as soon as I learned it existed. Definitely a preference of mine given I already had decades of experience with games like Starcraft 1's editor growing up. Grew out of drop downs and such in favor of more control. Learned tooling for intention is king.

News to me is that you weren't writing UdonSharp or using UdonGraph? CyanTrigger must have been quite powerful. Personally I've been learning C# more recently and I do think about doing more standalone stuff. VRC is where my friends are though.
