Are there genetic tests out there that breakdown the different markers in Desi people? Like between Dravidian and Aryan etc etc. I am curious but don’t have the time to research this only to find out the answer is “no”.

I admit. I have a plant addiction. Now I need to figure out where all these beauties will be homed for the next few weeks while the foundation of the yard and soil gets fixed and redone.

I just realized something. If the smallest cuts in cdramas and kdramas make people unattractive… I would be utterly hideous by those standards from all the scars on my body. All the testaments to my survival.

Good thing I don’t prescribe to those standards 🤓😂

Did you know: When anyone is offed, they have to spit out blood. NO MATTER WHAT. C-dramas taught me this.

Here’s where I’m confused. How does a knife wound in the knee or ankle or arm or something cause death by blood spitting?

And yes, there are more important issues to talk about etc etc.

For 2 weeks I have come up to bed at night to see my child sprawled diagonally across my queen sized bed. No Fs given. Note to that French guy with the viral video about dating women. She’s 9. And it’s already happening. Just FYI.

Side note: taking ideas on how to get my bed back for myself.

Day 12 of trying to function through a raging migraine…

I’ve given up on things like how many shoes the dogs have chewed on and why they like to pee in the corner of my office.

Instead, I now ask them to do this stuff when I have the energy to respond.

Had a really interesting question come up in class today about why “it/that” (అది ) and she (అది ) are the same. Admittedly, this stumped me. Anyone know?

Telugu love isn’t “I love you.”
It’s so much more.
This post is about language, film, and why I built my course.

🫶🏽 Let’s relearn what we were always meant to say. If it resonates, share the piece. Share the love.

It is deeply frustrating that I have to continue to engage with and on Meta platforms because this has become the only way TO build my organic community.

This forced choice stuff is 🤮 but until I can get to a point where I don’t need these platforms to help me build what I am, I’ll be here

You didn’t “miss your chance” to learn Telugu. You were just never given a proper one.

And no, fluency is not the goal.
Reclamation is.

This one’s for the diaspora kids, the intercultural fam, the late bloomers

How much did it cost to send 6 women into space for 10 mins 21 seconds?

How many hundreds of thousands of women in the US could have gotten at least some healthcare needs met for that price?

How many survivors in Gaza could have been helped?

Why are folks celebrating this privilege flex again?
