After more bloodwork and med tweaking, we have successfully gotten him to a normal thyroid range! He has settled at 2.8.

The update to this which I will still repeat the original survey and email came off as patronizing, disrespectful, and now they've realized they fucked up. At this stage in the game if it was even ever considered genAI this seriously then you've already made your stance imo.

As if seeing NaNoWriMo exploding partially because their stance on genAI was not enough, one of their former sponsors Dabble is now sending out surveys to feel if they can get away with it.

Update on the boy:
We just got the results of the updated bloodwork and while normally cats start on the half dose and go up to a full to get to a normal level
Thomas' body took that half a dose and dropped him almost into the hypo range

Update on Kitty part 2
The lab work is back. Thomas has a UTI (which we suspected as a few days ago he suddenly peed on the wall), and he has developed hyperthyroidism which is damaging his liver and is why he lost so much weight suddenly.
This is going to be a lifelong treatment process

It was a circus as he did not want anything to do with the vet, but she believes the lump is just a cyst. She was able to get us a full senior cat health panel, his vaccines, and his annual all to $217.
We will get results back later in the week.

He is such a handsome boy! At the least when we go he is jng to get gushed at by all the vet techs and front desk peeps. They all love him even if he is terrified lol

Getting nervous about Thomas' vet visit. That lump has gotten bigger and I keep telling myself it isn't worst case but I am so worried it is. Idk what we are going to do if it is.
