Oh hey, I was thinking 25 yrs. You can put "old" plates on old cars if the plate/sticker date matches the car's model year. So you can use your stamped plates now on an 05 car (or scrape a few years off with a razer blade).

In 2029, you can get a 2004 car and put your plate on that, I believe (as long as MEATMAT is not on a current car).

I had to get over the psychology that I'd be "old" if I walked for exercise. So I started doing it in addition to other exercise, rather than an alternative, and that's caused me to see all the benefits from this story firsthand.
