Nah. They’re all in on it. No way 8 Senators who all happen to be over 65 and not up for election in 2026 are acting independently on this. It’s a set up. The Dems caved, and the entire leadership needs to be purged and replaced with people who actually care about Americans. This is disgrace.

This is disgraceful. You had the upper hand and you caved, and all for nothing. You’ve handed victory to the GOP. What on earth was the point of any of this? The Dems complete ineptitude at mounting a meaningful opposition is why we are here in the first place! You should be ashamed.🙄

Then you don’t give in. The end game was a CR that also extended the ACA credits. It was doable. The pressure was all on the GOP and Trump, and the Dems handed them the win. It’s beyond stupid. What was the point of the shutdown? I hope anyone who votes for this gets primaries and loses badly.

And the power was gained in momentum and enthusiasm. It showed that people are moving in the Dems’ direction. If they saved the ACA credits, that would have been a win, and even more momentum. Instead, they’ve clearly lost, and given the GOP a huge talking point.

Prop 50 isn’t of consequence? Controlling the PA Supreme Court isn’t of consequence? Eliminating the super majority in Mississippi isn’t of consequence? All of those impact the federal government and elections for the federal government.🤷🏼♂️
