This has seemed to have worked as the switch 2 seems to be selling well. unless the silksong curse affected a different event that happened on April 2nd. This also explains the lack of news because all the major event holders are playing hot potato with silksong

That's why nintendo only showed silksong in a sizzle reel, as they would have been aware of this, so they cut down what would have been a trailer into a 5 second clip, inorder to minimize risk to their new console. cont'd.
