Ditto but for anime. Well except for the ones with garbage anime adaptations like Biscuit Hammer and Houshin Engi. I'm basing those off the manga. (I should probably just do a manga one too for those cases but eh.)

Made a 5x5 games chart. It's not ranked in any specific order though. I tried to keep it to one game per series too otherwise there would be a lot more of certain series. Some are recent favorites but others like Zelda I'm not really into now, but loved when I was a kid so not including it felt off.

Got started on Final Fantasy VII today. I never actually played it before but because the game is so famous I already know so much about what goes on in it. That being said though knowing a spoiler and knowing the full context are two very different things so it's nice to experience the actual game.

Nearly finished with the first part of Corrector Yui. The cast is generally pretty fun but I especially love Control. He's such a loveable dork.

Started Corrector Yui a few days ago. It's a late 90s magical girl show except instead of getting magical powers to fight monsters Yui goes to VR worlds to fight viruses. It's charming to see the writers imagined future internet but there is a bit of a bittersweetness looking at the internet today.

I cleared Romancing SaGa 3. What an amazing game. I think I prefer 2 overall but it's still really close. I don't plan on replaying it right away but I'm already thinking of how I want to tackle my next playthrough of the game.

I love doing quests for this lady. She knows that there are better rewards than things like gear or money.

I don't usually make meme images but I had to in this case. RS3's fairy is surprisingly strong. I was expecting some kind of spell caster from her but she's got muscle! One of the most standout moments from her was when she got seduced by a lilith while she was going to do a AoE attack.-

I thought I was ready to take on my first sinistral but I got beaten badly. Chances are it's more that I need to change up my approach over being too weak though. Gonna have to experiment and see what works. More important though the spriteart for this game is AMAZING. That's a late SNES game for ya

I just did the Robin quest in Romancing SaGa 3. While the original Robin is super cool from the moment I saw the fake Robin I knew he would have a permanent spot on my team. I'm still getting a feel for the other characters but this guy I'm taking all the way to the final boss.

Cleared Dragon Quest VI. I managed to beat the final boss on my first try but only because I could take advantage of the wagon. If it wasn't for that then I would have gotten wrecked by his final form. I wish Terry joined sooner though. He's cool but he joins late and at a pretty low level too.

Finally brought Mudo down. He was the first boss to wipe my party a few times before I could score a win. Feels like I just barely scratched the surface of the game though. Like everything up to now was just a extended prologue and now the real Dragon Quest VI begins.

Cleared Romancing SaGa 2. Easily one of the best games I've played this year. My run was really messy but I still managed somehow. The final boss gave me a lot of trouble though. I thought I'd beat the game over the weekend but ended up getting walled. I had to change my strategy a few times.

I thought Rocbouquet's temptation not working on your girl characters was the devs going with hetro as the norm, but after seeing my amazon getting charmed by a another girl I realized it's actually because Rocbouquet has no idea how to seduce a woman. Works for me since my empire is a yuri empire.

The Avalon empire is secretly being controlled by a cabal of MOLEMEN! The Seven Heroes are the ones that actually have your back! Just you know... Ignore all the death and destruction. Besides what's some innocent lives compared to Rocbouquet's smile?

Hippolyta the gyaru that became empress. Or at least that's what I thought when I first saw her. She's gonna revolutionize Avalon's fashion industry! (And kill some monsters and maybe one of the heroes)

Cleared Dragon Quest 5. I don't know if it's my favorite DQ because I'm also fond of 4 but I was definitely invested into the plot the most with this one. Slime Knight was my favorite monster. Other monsters came and went but the Slime Knight was with me the longest.

It's such a minor thing but I'm obsessed with the inn in the faerie village. Why is there a bath right where everyone can see? It's only ok right now because a skelly is using it but if anyone else used it then they'd be arrested. I wanna know the lore of why the innkeeper put it there.
