Hello everyone, Adam here. Most of you probably know by now I have been traveling up to Manchester once a month for the last few months to attend the the monthly Enhanced Syllabus Course. These classes are being run by Kyoshi Nick Horton (8th Dan), who has been behind the new WJJF syllabuses introduced a couple years ago.

We are going to be holding our next grading session on Friday 4th July. The grading will run during normal class times, meaning we will need all students to be prompt and on time for classes so that we have enough time to grade all students. Grading fees' will need to be in 2 weeks beforehand with your Budo pass on Friday 20th June. We can accept cash or cheques (made payable to 'J Davies') but not any credit or debit cards. As a reminder, here are the grading fee's for both classes:

We are looking to hold another grading session this summer, but we need your help. We are provisionally looking to hold a grading in late June or early July. At the moment we are considering Friday 4th July, but this is not set in stone for two reasons: Some students have already let us know that they will be away for certain dates over the summer We will have to arrange for a technical officer from another club to come moderate the grading. What we would like to know is if there are any other students who may be away at this time, or any other dates before or after July 4th.

Hi all, we have a couple news items to share, but first a quick apology from me. This news post should have gone out a few weeks ago, but thanks to a combination of me falling ill, work commitments and plain old forgetting, this news post has been ready to post but not actually published for 3 weeks. Sorry for that.

As you might know from our last post, the WJJF recently held a meeting of members which I attended. They had requested that any questions we had be emailed in advance, and I can now answer some of them. There are a couple bits of news I can only share with Julia for now, but they will be announced in time. Here are the questions we sent, along with their answers.

Hello everyone, Sensei Adam here. I will most likely be attending the WJJF's General meeting of Members in a couple of weeks, where they will be answering questions that have been sent to them in advance. We need to send any and all questions to them by the end of this month, so we would like to compile any and all questions from us into one email that will be sent by Sensei Julia.
