We've lost this beautiful bright light, but we were absolutely blessed to have her for the two years and four months she had left, and shared with us. We've been permanently touched and very deeply. One of many seniors we've intentionally adopted. ❣️🌈😢🥰😌🙏🏽

Back from Siracusa, Sicily. Awesome trip to just live, be, vibrate and absorb, in a different place. It has recharged my heart.

Tortitude? What? I'm merely stern when it's called for. I am otherwise quite patient with my slow-witted humans. 'Tis why my name is Sabir.

Our recently adopted senior, meet Sabir! She needs some plumping up, and lots of Patience. [Hence 'Sabir']

Holy 💩! And we complain about roaches... rodents... rabbits.. cats... white-tailed deer, etc etc etc. Heck, we're like the Burmese pythons in the Everglades.

Our cat absolutely loves to drink the "leftover" soaking water from our salad spinner no matter what green was in it. Kale is a perennial favorite but green bean water, lettuce water, broccoli water..? It's all good!

Let's keep our exchanges in the style of good, healthy discourse. Even after hearing a differing point of view and in no way changing our own (hey, it can happen) we still learn things. Even something like "My gawd, I would have never known someone could see it that way."

A little levity before we steel ourselves for what seems to be an oncoming, very rattling year in the States.

I've loved this poem for 42 years; it has never worn thin. Robinson Jeffers. I even got a chance to visit Tor House once, climbed the tower, looked out over the cliffs and up into the sky. Never realized how much it would have meant to me; it was a chance opportunity that I seized. ❣️

Our beloved Asia finally left us this past summer solstice. An incredible Spirit Cat with heterochromatic eyes (blue/green) & an evolved soul, she taught us new forms of Love that even our other cats didn't.

Finally able to express how grateful to have lived long enough to receive her teachings.
