Visited Zach in the ER for about an hour. He is doing well but still needs observation for fluid in his chest after his second surgery to correct a punctured lung and 4 broken ribs.

The surgeon called. Zach is doing well. A laceration in the left lung was found and that section was removed. The 8th rib was very sharp and had likely punctured his lung during the healing process.

Today, Zach is off his food. Again.
Pain was the cause the other day but today I think he feels tired and will eat when he is ready.
