Bird art you say? Well, arts and crafts, anyway. Needle-felting, penguins and owls.
Three small needle-felted penguins, each one a different size, with different features such as eye tufts, but obviously a family. Needle-felted owls, about 3 inches high, three of them each with different but similar features.

According to CBS News election coverage, some people really, really want to vote in this election!
Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams says, "We're getting calls about polls being closed. They are closed because we do not have elections today. Kentucky votes next year. You cannot vote today in Kentucky for the mayor of New York City or the Governor of Virginia. Sorry."

My poor Rocco rubbed his little nose raw in stress while I was off on vacation. I feel so bad, but he is happy now and will not be going through that again.

I found these mushrooms along a trail, growing on a fallen tree. The thing is, it wasn't a normal trail. It was a troll trail.

Celebratory sea birds! I'm not a good enough birder to ID them. This is Big Sur, California.
Beach sand with scattered small dark rocks leads down to waves breaking through clusters of larger rocks, sea birds following the waves up and down the sand. The ocean fades into a hazy horizon behind the rocks.

So, this morning I took a nap with my little dogs. Then I took a shower. Then I went to a Reptile expo, wandered around, and bought a couple unique 3D printed skeletons for my Halloween collection. Then I took the dogs for a walk in a woodsy park.

Did I use it wisely, or flake off and waste it?
