This is so true, but now munis outside of Boston are backtracking on planned multimodal projects because "even Mayor Wu realized bike lanes are bad". This backtrack will have negative impact on the entire Boston region for years to come. And also more people will be injured on our streets.

My friend will make a 3d model for you that can printed using a 3d printer of you’d like. We have used your directions to convert a few bikes using BBS and we would be happy to rerun the favor. We can use an urban arrow to model it.

Every street renovation and intersection upgrade in the past has been done in the name of level of service and smooth asphalt and we see very little congestion (despite what residents will tell you). For me this is up there with lack of safe infra as the #1 hurdle to getting people on bikes.

As a struggling advocate that lives in the suburbs just outside of Boston this rings especially true. Driving for every trip out here will always be quicker when you drive. Every house has driveway/garage capacity for many cars and every destination has ample parking
