It should be noted that when I presented the 504 plan to the counselor at our new school in CO, he looked at it in disbelief. Said he'd never write a plan like that. I told him be glad he never had to. That this is how some of us have to protect our kids. All he could say was "I'm so sorry".

Most of us already do this. This is America, after all. We know they've got us on a leash and our neighbors keep voting to keep that leash. (I'm a social worker tho, so when I do bare minimum, people suffer.)
