Stop burning fossil fuels.
Interesting local architecture. Tiled shop entrance and a tin ceiling. I love tinned ceilings. Our town hall has tinned ceilings and walls. I used to look for them in Christchurch when I lived there in the 90’s. Beautiful patterns.

Waiting for the bus in Masterton. No seat. I have mobility issues and standing for long not just hurts it burns. I’m too short for the beam I think is for leaning against. Doesn’t work anyway.

Not good enough MetLink and Masterton District Council.

I’ve started knitting. I knitted last 16 years ago. Now I want leg warmers that are wool not acrylic. I’m not very good, but I’m not expecting perfection, I’m expecting warm legs.
Though by the way this winter is going it won’t be a problem soon.

He’s still with us. After a minor health scare and concern about his inoperable tumour a trip to the vet and reassurance that while he’s on the downhill he’s not out yet. If he wasn’t jumping, cleaning himself well, eating and stuff I’d be more worried. He’s 19 in November.

From the Edmonds cook book. The edition I picked up before I headed off to University in 1993. Yesterday my eldest son and I documented making bread for a science project. There is a tiny bit left.
When home schooling is yummy and not so bad.

Ready or not. Featherston Booktown here I am! Two workshops, two mornings. Craft of the Book. Featherston Booktown is 10. I’ve been here since the beginning.

First week of home schooling is over!
I miss working, but not the bone crunching stress of it. I gotta get me a less people focused job.
We finally have cold enough weather to wear hoodies and have the heat pump on.
Neo still lives!
And a science experiment on sea level rise for the win.

The leather for Booktown arrived late yesterday. I redrafted the cutting template and have started cutting out 20 pieces in blue for the workshops.

One white roof. It’s been a long time coming but there it is.

Was in Wellington yesterday with the family. We destination shopped. We’re terrible at just walking around exploring. I wanted to stay for more of the Pride festival but the offspring were beat. It’s fun though. Getting out and about.

Neo has a thing for eating charcoal. I’m not sure why. I’m super curious as to why.

We know he’s got a tumour on his hip, hypothyroidism, kidney disease and is going blind.
