If you can, please consider donating to their GoFundMe. The money is going to union members this holiday so they can buy groceries and pay rent while they fight for a fair contract.

If MiUSA means anything at all, it must mean good paying jobs for workers.

actually changing things. however, volunteering for a political party is not the only way to fight for change, and i would much rather affect change on my own by organizing with my peers

volunteering for the liberals is a joke. have you seen the blue liberal bullshit that carney has been pulling in regards to immigration, funding for public services, and the new natural gas "nation-building projects"? that shit is just conservatism

in ontario, i had the displeasure of witnessing two "canada first" rallies here in toronto. our assholes cannot be disregarded, because "it cannot happen here" only works until it does happen here. look at the states

unconditional priority

absolutely agree. it's even the same here in canada with fuckass "canada first" motherfuckers wanting mass deportations and "remigration" (which is exactly the horrors you see in the states rn, and they want that here)

they don't understand that making their immigrant neighbours fearful hurts them

November 28, 2025 at 5:31 AM
all gotta fight that
November 28, 2025 at 5:30 AM
i feel like working-class people are from both sides, it just depends on who they talk to first. but with mainstream media propping people up like tucker carlson and the internet propping people up like charlie squirt it's no surprise that there's a lot of racism. always has been though and we-

would much rather have far side stop and fight for meaningful transit signal priority than to settle for near side stop infrastructure and have still-slow streetcars
November 26, 2025 at 4:17 AM

Depending on what you mean by "foundational immigration law," it's not true that this system has existed over a millennia.

For much of US history, migrants arrived by simply walking off of a boat. First US immigration law came in 1882 with the Chinese Exclusion Act.
