Talk of Gundam men in bikinis gave me too much food for thought.

Tonight's headcanons: how Chibodee gets along with each of the gals, and how they get along with each other
Chibodee-Shirley: The only ones who can call each other out. Alike in a fair few ways, for good and ill (though she's rather more openly cynical). Chibodee-Bunny: Mutual enablers. All the brain cells and impulse control disappear when it's just these two. Chibodee-Cath: Patching someone up on the regular tends to mean they get more comfortable being vulnerable in front of you. If they're invoking “doctor-patient confidentiality” it often means he's going to her about his sex life. Chibodee-Janet: She is the most likely of them to overtly sister him, and the first to cheerlead. (She's not naive though. He is allowed nowhere near her car.) Shirley-Bunny: The biggest schemers and troublemakers when you put them together, and their plans have a decent chance of actually working Shirley-Cath: The two you want in charge in an emergency. And before Cath was Chibodee's cornerman, she was Shirley's. Shirley-Janet: Fellow gear heads! Find them tinkering together. Sisters going back the farthest of the group. Janet is Shirley’s morality pet sometimes. Bunny-Cath: Sometimes they are in perfect harmony, and other times they are a Goofus and Gallant sketch Bunny-Janet: The girliest duo, at least comparatively speaking. Makeovers and milkshakes and Bunny being a disastrous wingwoman. Cath-Janet: So naturally affectionate that they were probably the last ones to realize they were dating. Their dynamic can dip into logic vs emotion.

Part two!
Argo from G Gundam, given an updated design for a four-year time skip. He wears a long dark green coat with lighter green trim over a deep purple button-down, tan pants, and brown leather boots. Allenby and Rain with time skip redesigns. Allenby has an undercut. She wears her canon necklace, a pink and red bomber jacket with patches, a black top, cuffed denim shorts, dark blue tights, and black combat boots. Rain has her hair cropped short not unlike a young Audrey Hepburn. She's kept her necklace from canon, but swapped her earrings out for hoops. She's wearing a long-sleeved deep pink top, a tool belt, aqua blue stirrup pants, and white/pale green pumps.

G Gundam drabble. Written for the prompt "when/after you left". There's a bittersweet tinge to it all. (Mentioned Domon/Rain, unrequited Chibodee/Domon)
Once the happy couple left, and the other fighters could process everything... No, it wasn't worth thinking about. And yet… “Everyone can see the budding romance” was one thing. “The strength of their love saved the world” was salt in the wound. Not that Chibodee had any illusions that he was unique in this. Probably everyone who met Domon was a little in love. Allenby was certainly taking it like a champ. But she was at least able to get it off her chest. “You're quiet.” “Just thinkin’ about love.” “How you missed your chance with Rain?” “Sure, that's it.”

G Gundam drabble. Written for the prompt "circus". Takes place during episode 31. He would sound insane if he tried to explain why he couldn't go.
Sometimes you wish you had a normal relationship to simple childhood pleasures. Because how do you begin to explain - or avoid explaining - that the big top feels like it's looming, that the crowds are stifling, that the cacophony of clowns’ laughter is jeering at you? Who would believe that a riot would break out in such a joyful place? Nobody else smells gunpowder in the cotton candy sweetened air. Nobody else is in flight-or-flight mode. It's just you. It's just a normal circus. But how else are you supposed to feel about the last place you saw your mother alive?

Part one of the time skip redesigns!
Slightly older Domon from G Gundam. He's grown his hair out and wears it in a Master Asia-style braid, but with his own signature bangs and headband. His outfit is similar to his previous one, but his jacket is now gray with red racing stripes, and he wears black hiking boots. Slightly older Chibodee. He's relaxed the spikes some, letting his bangs loose and the rest being more obviously feathered. He's kept his choker and sneakers, and wears a white tee with the sleeves ripped off, a denim vest with a studded star on the back, hand wraps, a star buckle on his belt, and straight cut jeans with holes in the knees. Slightly older George and Sai. George has his hair cut to his shoulders, and has kept his white pants and heeled boots. He wears a cropped purple jacket over a pale blue shirt and blue ascot fastened with a green brooch. Sai has half of his hair in a top knot and the other half loose. He kept his shoes and wears a pale yellow shirt with a matching gold pleated jacket and pants, both half-length, and a jade bracelet.

A few G Gundam "four years later" designs, in which Chibodee embraces metal, George goes Napoleonic, and Sai grows up. (Argo is shaping up to be vaguely steampunk thanks to the manga's pirate outfit, and I'm still figuring out Domon and Rain. Open to suggestions for anyone.)
A full body sketch of Chibodee at age 24/25. He has kept his pink bangs, choker, and high top sneakers, but has updated some other things. His bangs are down and his hair is looser/more feathered. His shirt (implied to be split color) has the sleeves ripped off, and over it he wears a denim vest with a studded star on the back. His jeans are slim fit with holes in the knees, and he has a star belt buckle. A full body sketch of George at 24/25 and Sai at 20/21. George has cut his hair to about shoulder length. (I like to think he donated the excess.) He wears a cropped jacket over a buttoned shirt and a cravat fastened with a brooch. He has kept his boot-cut trousers and heeled boots. Sai has gained a significant amount of height but is still the shortest of the group, and his jaw is more chiseled. His hair is pulled into a half topknot, with the rest sitting on his shoulders. He's wearing an open half-sleeve tangzhuang jacket over a tank top, a beaded bracelet, calf-length pleated pants, and slip-on shoes.

Hey YGO tag, I'm feeling nostalgic, so it's time for me to make my case for Pegasus/Pandora (forlornshipping): So here we have these two flamboyant tragic villains with long hair and red suits and facial trauma, who have "childish" interests (cartoons/stage magic), who fell into the card game mania in their desperation to reunite with past lovers - the parallels abound! Imagine them having been fans of each other's work. Imagine them commiserating over the destructiveness of the Millennium Items. Imagine the tension of Pandora being deeply ashamed of his burns but Pegasus wanting to paint him. Imagine the kinky bullshit they could get up to (real life Nightmare Chains, anyone?).
