Followed a link to CNN and they now ask you to agree to their Terms of Use and Cookie Policy in a pop-up, front and center. Not sure if this is more egregious than the typical Cookies, Accept/Reject pop-up but it feels way worse to me & I don't care enough about CNN to investigate!

Parked the old truck in a spot where lots of dogs walkers go past, and folks leaving the rental office drive past.

After an anti-nausea med & a sedative so they could do the x-rays, at least she is resting comfortably now. We're waiting for the radiologist to look at her pics now. They say that'll be about an hour.

Well I spoke too soon. Now we're at the emergency vet getting X-rays & blood work and ultra sounds. Happy to have a new set of eyes checking her out, actually.

Emergency trip to the vet this morning. Lola was having this awful cough/gag issue. We had to drop her off so now I have to fret about that. If she were younger I wouldn't be so concerned but when a dog is almost 15 everything worries you.

Last time I played it was just mission after mission in endless corridors. Now there are NPCs to talk to & to aid. In a similar way to how adding NPCs to Fallout 76 turned the game around for me, same might be true here. I need that human touch. :)

Version 1 of my mini-terrarium jar lid didn't come out so good. It stays in place but I neglected to factor in that the acrylic disk was clear so you can see all the adhesive from the other side.

Been falling down an aquarium/terrarium YouTube rabbit hole lately so this morning's project was the near-zero budget mini terrarium. Old olive jar, everything except a bit of sphagnum moss collected behind our apt building. There's a few isopods (pill bugs) in there but they're hiding.

These are the "I voted" stickers they're handing out here in the Raleigh NC area, or at least at the place we went to in order to do our Early Voting. Apparently they held a contest asking school kids to design stickers. Pretty adorable.

Popped into the ABC Store today & they've gone big into craft rums. Have a whole aisle full of it. I had the doggo in the car so couldn't properly browse but grabbed a bottle of this Bogue Sound Distillery Spiced Rum and my my my is it ever tasty.
Very sippable. Maybe an ice cube to cool it.

Still getting a feel for the gameplay, though. Plus I forget how much I dislike the huge launch day (or in this case, early access day) crowds in MMOs.
