I really enjoy using colored pencils on markers in drawings. Although it’s more difficult for me to achieve realism with colored pencils (compared to graphite), the vibrancy of the colors really makes up for it

I was a bit worried in the ugly stages of this drawing, but it turned out alright in the end. It’s been such a long time since I last used colored pencils over markers. Yet, this piece managed to surpass my expectations

Next time I draw with markers, I’m gonna try out using actual colors for the shading and highlights. Just using black and white really washes out the hues in each piece

Although I like my last wolf dragon, I decided to redo it because of the fur. In this latest piece, I used black colored pencils to “ink” the lines, and revamped the fur. It’s by no means perfect, but the results are much more satisfying. All I need to do now is add better posing and perspective

I usually don’t like to redraw things which already exist; which is why I rarely draw fanart and don’t do commissions. Yet, I hope to change that one day, and be less of a perfectionist
