For reference they are a party of 4 at lvl 10 and my sleep deprived ass was gonna throw a CR. 9 boss with 6 CR. 2 minions at them
My understanding in balancing dnd encounters has grown exponentially. I had to re balance a fight last night because if I had thrown what I had planned at them they would have fucking perished.
