Nah, keep going! Im currently at around 130,000 words of lore, and imma keep writing till I can't think of anything else to add ^.^

I have been in this fandom for a very long time, I have seen the progress of furry acceptance first hand; it is slow, yes, but it is happening. And it started before the pups started their barking. We just need to keep pushing the "furry is an umbrella term" button, they will drop it eventually.

The ones who are heard from the most are merely the loudest, not the most numerous. And the deeper they dig to try and uproot what they call dissonance the more they will find, and the quicker they will realize that they are outnumbered. They inevitably will lose interest in their impossible task.

They think that by doubling down that they will recieve that praise again, but fail to realize they are destroying a safe space for those who have nowhere else to express themselves; homogenizing an alt-fringe group and slowly dissolving what made it interesting in the first place. Misguided.

I noticed that a short time ago (maybe 6 or 7 years) the younger furs were getting praised for being straight edged, showing a disfavor towards intoxicants and raucous fun. I think they grew too fond of that attention and seek further gratification by being over the top and annoying about it...
