Compared to older series, it was significantly worse. It wasn't trash, but it was so cheesy that it was hard to watch at times.

I just finished Dandadan and I really liked it. It doesn't feel like other anime, and what was most unusual, despite being an action anime, the interactions between characters were more interesting than everything else.
