Man… the power of memory is a wild thing. I’m reading with ff7 music in the background and aeriths theme comes on, and for a split second I was a kid in front of the tv the first time “that” scene happened, fighting the boss as the song continued to play… and then I was back in my chair listening

Gotta be honest, I’m getting little tired of all the videos being like “the switch 2 is doing poorly… well it’s more that it had a bad holiday… but also due to pre-holiday sales it’s still above the switch launch… and also everyone is doing poorly and had a pretty bad holiday overall… but Nintendo!”

Finally found it for a good Price on Amazon (was $60, then $100, then $60 again then $40 with a coupon) so I picked up an official copy of Kamen Rider Geats! (2nd pic is with my bootleg)

Played the new pacman course in Sonic Crossworlds. It looks nice and the music is pretty good, but something I’ve noticed with both this and the SpongeBob track (still weird to say) is that the tracks themselves… aren’t very interesting. They’re full of references, but as race tracks they’re “fine”

Hmmm… every so often I debate taking my iPhone and turning Apple Intelligence on, cause some of those features seem useful… but then I see some of the other ai features that I’m less comfortable with and I decide not to…

So far assassins creed shadow really does feel like the best made assassins creed game in years! The visuals even on switch 2 are great, the music is atmospheric and mood setting, plus great characters! But my feelings on the level up system are still leaning to “annoying”.

Happy new years everyone!
My dad passed away on new years, so every year I go outside, sit in our driveway and watch the fireworks… it reminds me that this day doesn’t have to be a sad, it’s a celebration of him and all the memories we share.
Plus, my dad would have loved the idea of “going out with a bang” I love you Padre

As the year comes to an end I can’t say it was a fantastic year… but it got better by the end and we made it through!

Managed to pick this up at my local GameStop! A stranger was like “oh, are you buying it because it does something in the game?”
I was like “honestly it’s more that for the price it’s just a nice high quality figure, and I wanted it cause it looks cool” and he laughed and said “you’re not wrong!”

Tried out the mouse controls for stardew valley switch 2, and while I have to get used to them, since I don’t play games with mice often, they work really well!
But… there is a lingering feeling like they pushed this out to avoid delaying the release. They don’t even list the mouse control scheme
