It's to allow California to redistrict outside of the normal 10 year census. Basically Gov. Newsom is intending to counter what Texas is doing but unlike Texas, he's doing it after asking permission from the people of California.

Oh! I just thought of another one! "Storyteller" it's for phone, tablet, and pc. It's a puzzle game about using pictures to create a story about the description given. A lot of the situations you can make can end up very silly too.

If you enjoy building and creating I can highly recommend Tiny Glade. It has very soothing music as you build. It even has daily inspirations. If you want something a little more challenging, there's Slime Rancher. Both the original and sequel are super cute and you can turn off the dangerous slimes

The executive order is also trying to dictate things for before a child is born. Humans are part of the animal kingdom. Yes, our brains have out developed anything that has existed before but our basic biology is still animal.

Except that at conception all humans start developing as female. It's not until later that the Y chromosome turns on and their sex essentially changes. So, yes, it kind of does. Changing sex/gender is a very natural thing and we even see it in ourselves, albeit at a very early stage.

The human body kind of does do that. The EO states sex at CONCEPTION, but there are no males at conception. The Y chromosome doesn't activate until much later, in some babies it's too late or never at all. Which can cause the baby to develop as a fully functional girl or a boy with ovaries/uterus.

I'm guessing they'll force doctors to go back to the old way of doing things. The doctor takes a look and just picks a gender for the child and doesn't tell the parents that there was anything different.
