1 year. i've been at this for one year

...and there's no alternative that i liked, so i'm literally writing my own version (and have been since like 2023? or 2024? i'd have to check my commit history)

this is also why most of my music's pulled from streaming services now btw

my website has been slowly degrading over the past year or so i wanna say (it's still usable, it's just the odd visual error and broken font), and the reason i haven't fixed it yet is literally because the core backend of the thing is vendor locked to one startup i won't name here...

enshittification is real, and even the devs who are implementing this are forced to do so by management or some "visionary" in silicon valley who ate too much glue in college and thinks they know how to "disrupt the market" (aka: make lots of money)
