It went better than it expected. It definitely helped that they didn't know what furries were. Good timing too, because <politics> happened right after. So at least I got to tell them before the media did. I asked my mom for help for making the suit, and she said yes!

After the con, I decided that I finally wanted to make a fursuit. Even though my room is full of furry stuff, my parents assumed it was some cartoon thing, since they didn't know about furries. I finally told my (maga) parents that I was a furry.

When we saw the fireworks, we perched up on top of one of the buildings. We had some friends that had difficulty getting up, and I got into my Moondle dragon avatar and flew them up. Someone told me it was fantastic to see our friends being dropped off by me as a dragon ;_;

I managed to get into an instance with a lot of friends during the community show case. With all of us there, we laughed and we cried. It was an amazing show case. We survived the "vrchat crash of 2025" together.
