You gotta do pretty much everything available in act 2 (every wish, all maps purchased, most of the fleas) to be able to unlock act 3. You know you'll have it when you get a wish from the priest lad in the chapel town.

Im wondering if whatever's up next will be more enjoyable but i'm trying to get all of the wishes completed beforehand (especially that needle upgrade that one sucks)

Lace 2 imo is probably one of the most well balanced yet difficult fights in this game...

In short it fucking peaks

It's really only an issue when the boss summons enemies that also deal 2 masks

Also yeah in some areas (especially late game) those 2 mask hazards are the devil

Last judge's runback might be ass but just wait until the evil room that kills you..,..
