This is not a deal, there is no protection of health care, a promise of a vote from the party that doesn't keep promises. All of the effort to elect Dems in Virginia, and you just slapped us in the face.

From what I understand, the amorphous group antifa (anti-fascists) have shown up at peaceful protests. To place themselves between riot police & protesters, they see our militarized police as fascists & are there to fight fascism for our 1st amendment right to protest.

Soylent, comes in a variety of forms, check their website. My favorite is the chocolate complete protein. It was also a winner with young, very picky eaters and not too sweet. Best cold. Also a great plant based protein source as I have alpha-gal syndrome.

I keep looking for better coverage of the whole protest, not just sensational clips. And much of the LAPD bad behavior was not covered.

As a woman watching the video of that "arrest". It terrifies me every time. I see myself walking down the street, suddenly surrounded by masked people in regular clothes & no other identification, grabbing my phone. A mugging or kidnapping maybe, previously I would not have thought it was my govt!

The Dems are NOT just getting calls&anger from progressives! It is across the spectrum demand they stand up.Listened to Schumer this morning, he talked like those wanting the Dems to have courage were not intelligent enough to understand the dangers of a shutdown. He owns this with Musk & Trump.

Seems to me the Dems are failing at the messaging (again)! "GOP have failed to put together a budget that will receive enough votes to keep the government open". NOT that Dems are in a pickle about whether to shut down the government.

Dems should take this opportunity to announce an opposition shadow government.Ranking members from both houses to be Shadow Secretaries for the positions. Dems should announce what their opposition bills would be for every GOP bill & budget put forward. Let us know what you would do instead.
