It's pretty simple really. Two 5 volt LED's, and they're connected to the CV outs of my MPC. The signal of CV is 5v, so you can control them fully with sequencing your CV, or forwarding your midi tracks to the CV out.

I would love to get into Arduino stuff though, that looks like a ton of fun too!
