The thing is the truth is horrid enough as it is with regards to oil.
Hopefully I'm off it by 2026 or 2027 at the latest.
Will get an electric mower next month, then an electric van in 26 or 27.
Also getting rid of the gas booster hot water and gas stove at a similiar time.

A modular battery is the way to go becuase it is easier to put more storage in if you require it.
I put a BYD modular battery in December 2024 and it has been working well for me.
There are other brands which do the job well.

I believe the heatwave is forecast for the 29th (Monday) & 30th (Tuesday). The forecasts are 33°c & 31°c which is bareable.
