I don't dream of my characters often, but in the case of my favorite Weird Luck character, Bianca, that was what inspired me to develop her in the first place: she appeared to me in a nightmare when I was 8 years old.

In the city of Tal Sharnis where the Weird Luck comic takes place, the most common alcoholic drinks are locally-brewed liquors & beers. Exotic drinks are the ones imported from other worlds––including wine, since grapes can't grow in the chaotic local climate.

As of the end of Volume One of Weird Luck, Agent Sojac believes the most likely cause of an apocalypse would be someone trying to use the Corvus Drive (see my last post before this one). Her colleagues in the Reality Patrol concur.

There are magical artifacts in the Weird Luck universe, and one of them, the Corvus Drive, is central to the plot of the comic. Part of its origin will be told in our next prequel tale (coming Nov 12) and the rest will be revealed in Vol 2 of the main storyline!

So far in the Weird Luck webcomic the monsters we've met include a many-tentacled extradimensional horror, a pair of shapeshifting fire-breathing murder dogs, some multi-eyed mutant pigeons, and, of course, Bianca.

Yellow Submarine. Came out the year I was born, and my local public library had a copy they screened regularly, so I saw it at least once a year between the ages of 2 and 10. Its profound influence on the development of my imagination is still visible in my work if you look for it.
