Irl women that work in male dominated spaces often are given masculine nicknames! I have a cis friend who works construction and despite her name being Lauren, her coworkers call her Larry sometimes it's a leftover of when it was believed to be bad luck to have women around in those fields 1/2

The director confirmed it was meant to be 3 hours long but netflix forced them to cut it down super late into production so they couldn't really do major rewrites
