(2) He just got large volume paracentesis last week (12 litres) with albumin and colloid replacement. He was discharged with diurects dose uptitrated to furosemid 3x40 mg and spironolactone 2x100 mg.

Physical examination reveals patient is jaundice, rales hear on both lung fields, massive ascites

A case of iatrogenic HRS?

(1) A 50 year old man admitted to hospital with shortness of breath, oliguria, an worsening jaundice. Patient is known to have a diagnosis of liver cirrhosis (likely due to MASLD), and had undergone several admission for repeated paracentesis.
