In Heerlen, The Netherlands, a car driver plowed into the wall of the local hospital. The damage was so severe they had to close down the A&E department...

All 3 #3Dprinted smartphone holders: for sporty bike, for 🚒, for grandpa bike.
January 15, 2026 at 1:43 PM
And that's number 3 of the new new phone holders printed.
This one sits in the front basket of my 27 year old 🚲.
It's a Dutch Batavus with a Yamaha PAS on NiMh battery.
Nearly 3 decades old, and (only) on it's 4th battery since new.
Bike still in use for local shopping, hence the basket.

New new phone holder installed in 🚒

And that's the phone holder for the 🚒 printed. Incl recess for camera bezel and lower wall on RH side for access to USB and speaker.

New phone = new phone holder(s)
Fortunately there's a #BambuLab printer at hand,
so the first one printed was the one to fit on stem of my 🚲

Currently printing another one to fit in the car radio DIN aperture.
PETG-HF, so hopefully better temperature resistant than PLA.

Altough it seems we're living "in" Ninety Eighty Four, the concept of I C E is half a century older.

Was looking for a birthday present.
This is supposed to be "High End" knitwear, but they're using AI-images.

No thank you.

Today, I rode 2 nearly identical routes:
the 1 st one on my old 🚲
the 2nd one on my SerialOne PAS bike

Turns out I burned MORE calories on the e-bike, never expected that result!

That's technically the "best" one can do in this game: all but 1 boxes crossed. (*) I've had higher scores ( due to bonus system), but this result is the most rewarding.

(*) Game stops after 2 colours are out, so by taking out 3 colours in 1 go the maximum possible is 4 colours.

So Microsoft's Copilot is offering me the weather forecast bilingually. I guess I should take it as a compliment. 🧐

Opening an official (Dutch language) Belgistan Government website, I got this big banner claiming that I'm using an "old" browser with a MESSAGE IN ENGLISH (wich is ILLEGAL on government documents) to install Chrome.
(I'm using Bing)

Three quarters of an hour later, and the only thing "Snowy" I've seen is on the #3Dmodel I made...

My weather app is being a bit of a drama queen right now.
"Wolkbreuk" = cloudburst of snow / hail in 10 minutes.

After several weeks of unavailability, the Bambu Lab warehouse in the EU has finally got some PLA Basic starter sets back in stock.
So I ordered one, since it is a big saving (€40) over the regular price of 4 spools.

Used Onshape to design a phone holder to fit over the stem of my bicycle handlebars, and a camera mount for the front luggage rack. They have done the job since I've bought the bike 21 months ago and survived for nearly 6000 kms by now.
