I made this for my #Toronto friends who may be contemplating a keep-it-simple, same-day, GO transit-enabled getaway for the eclipse on April 8. I hope you find this map moderately useful. :) 🌞🌗🌎 #eclipse #eclipse2024 #SolarEclipse #SolarEclipse2024

The Heart nebula with Redcat 51 and the heart of Heart on C8. Both imaged with 7nm Ha, Oiii, and Sii filters that cut off plenty of light pollution of the Bortle 8 sky. As you see, I’m experimenting with the colour palette. #astrophotography

Comparing various block coding websites and Chromebook apps, I found that code.org provides the best variety of concepts and pacing as well as really beautiful and engaging activities to code. Sharing of a few of my own screen captures, hope you don’t mind. #EduSky

My imaging rig right now. The DIY focuser gear rotated to the place with the screw holes, so the entire focuser couldn’t work last night. I have to disassemble and rotate it back. Otherwise PETG plastic works fine since summer. #Astrophotohraphy #space #hobby
