Looking in the mirror is painful, but that feeling is trying to tell us something. If there's something you feel you NEED to improve, then try! Not for others, just for you. And for the rest, maybe they arent bad things, maybe people can like those unique things you were told were weird or bad

To connect is to express yourself, and if you hate yourself why on earth would you go and express who you are to others? Because of that way of thinking there is quite a lot that people - who want to know you - will never know, all because you feel your not worth knowing

Oooh yeah I understand that so well. I used to hate myself. Was literally a time I got into a relationship because at the time it felt like the last thing to I could think of to try and make me happy. But any kind of relationship will be limited if you hate yourself

It's important to learn to forgive ourselves. Negative thoughts imo are something in us trying to tell us things, but you can learn from them without making them an authoritative indictment of who and what we are forever. Some things we can improve, and others might be something that isn't even bad
