Thrilled to share that my mentor Prof. Yasmine Belkaid received the “Women in Skin Science” prize by Almirall & #ESDR 🌟👏. At the round table, she rightly reminded us: “Life is too short to be boring, take risks.” 💡💪 #WomenInScience #Skin @esdrorg.bsky.social @belkaidlab.bsky.social

Following an amazing GRS, the GRC brought even more existing science. From rete ridges across the animal kingdom to wild skin organoids and sex-biased skin physiology. It was also a great opportunity to reconnect with former colleagues and friends (#Watt Lab Family 😀).

A month ago, I had the joy of co-chairing the GRS meeting on epithelial differentiation & keratinization with my dear friend @drpriyankabhosale.bsky.social. Huge thanks to the trainees:you made it so worthwhile. Also hugely grateful to the panel speakers who provided an honest and moving discussion.
