The problem I ran into is with Splatoon was two false promises:
1. You can "git gud" and eventually "win"
2. You can connect with other people
I never *felt* like I was good at the game, and I never made any friends (no vc). Feeling weak and lone sucked, so I left and I'm working on my life instead.
