Today is the 50th anniversary of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. This was an unrehearsed first take in the studio! They tried other takes but they didn't match the magic of the first one. Here are a couple articles on the history of the ship and the wreck. (1/3)

The new Devo documentary on Netflix is great. I was a fan early on, and learned more about them while living in Akron and working at Kent State, and I still learned a lot from this. They were ahead of the curve in so many ways. Well worth your time.
