This Digimon actually debuted in 2003, not 2019. The 2019 date was its' Reference Book entry addition date.

acknowledge a series' flaws, but due to some jerks' insecurities that stems from their personal, unresolved issues about themselves, they had to unfortunately normalize this degrading behavior until some people can weed them out on it.

Milla Basset from the Freedom Planet series is the character I'm talking about who had the thankful attire change in the sequel.

Another anthropomorphic character from a different series also had this type of pants but was given a different attire in the sequel. And for a good reason too, cause' said character is a kid which is pretty gross so the change in attire is a good thing.

I saw this as "an Andromon disintegrates back into a complete organic, Champion-level reptile Digimon with blades then disintegrates back to a Rookie-level humanoid Cyborg or Machine Digimon" Which gives an idea here

Usually, I'd expect it would be coming from the Pokémon side going on the whole "my series is much more successful that your monster series", didn't know there's some bad eggs within this community would fire that same phase back.

Unless it's a totally different topic that goes into another territory that's hard to discuss, then I understand.

I'm assuming this is related to the notorious comparison with another series, that in particular is Pokémon. Tbh such topic to discuss on Twitter X is possibly the one to get negative attention, in here though feels mundane and wouldn't gather negativity.

only way to make everyone back away from this series is to make it SO infamous from such incident, it also has to drag another series into this mess and both has to get a bad rep so that no one will take interest in both.
