I'm using @kicad.org new multi channel functionality *extensively* with a keyboard design. Only a few hiccups, but it's handling 100 copies like a champ.

Today I have a mythical Roland Juno-60 unit in mint external condition. Only a few buttons seem to be having issues.
I have a Nyborg-12 + Nyborg-24 analogue synthesizer on my desk today. Owner reports that no sound is produced, even if the unit seems to power on.
I've found this already a few times with old synthesizers. They need AC to work!
The one provided by the owner is not correct.

Fixing an Event Opal studio monitor these days.
Really intricated, it needs almost 30 minutes to get to the amplifier components!
It was blowing fuses, so I removed the transistors and then found "that". Probably a remain from a previous repair attempt.
It sounds beautifully now!

This Roland TR-727 Rhythm Composer has been heavily modified with many switches and sockets. Not a bad job, but I can see how it can affect its robustness. I already found a problem. Let's keep looking! #synthrepair

I received my MSXBook/OneChipBook today. Amazing little machine!
It has a great display, regular cartridge slot, backlit mechanical keyboard, internal battery good for 3-4 hours... All for 200 euro. Great job!

I found these three CRT monitors in the flea market. I *had* to save them.
Only one of them was working, but I was able to recover them just by reseating the internal connectors.
I'll try to convert them to RGB!

After a few adjustments, the Kraken cartridge for the #MSX is working!
Super interesting device. It has audio *input*, so you can route the MSX sounds to the monitor where the video is showing.

I'm soldering the V9990 Video Display Processor IC to the Kraken #MSX cartridge from @MSXcalamar and @mfides
I manually dispensed a little bit of solder paste on each pad and used the hot air station for the reflow.
It's relatively easy and gives excellent results.

I have the components for the final assembly of MSX Calamar's Kraken cartridge. A V9990 Video Display Processor unit from Yamaha that upgrades the MSX video capabilities to incredible new heights.
