Welp came within inches of getting hit by a car. Another cyclist and I started to cross the road when our light turned green and the car making the right turn didn’t even bother to look for bikes or pedestrians

you know the economy and people spending is tight when net-a-porter is like 70% off and then also 20% off for the second or third time this year. Nobody is spending money on designer items when we're getting laid off left and right.

Been writing python for interview practice ... I actually dislike that there's ten different ways of writing the same code. Guess I'm a golang pleb after all. /shrug

@strava should have metrics for how many cars are on a particular road. It'd be helpful to know for route planning a more cyclist friendly route.

Many years ago, I used to think of AI as something that was very much intertwined with philosophy. Surprised that there's almost no philosophy talk with recent developments.

With all the changes coming up this year, it is so important and I can’t stress enough how important this is .. for all women to have jobs, their own bank account, money, means of communication and transportation. The alternative is no longer an option.

As if the job market isn’t already though enough, I have the new requirement for my job to be cycle commute friendly… very doable in the Bay Area I presume
