I have a tiny house and a baby garden. Let's trade tomatoes.

Fascists are repulsive. It may seem radical, but don't support genocide.
I'll be the brave one to victim blame Keith for having such a delicious lunch

The potty timer is a good idea! It sets a nice structure.

It's great that this is being tackled now. I worked with a level 2 client in their late twenties who wore depends. They found it frustrating, but would inevitably decide to wait until it was too late the next time, too. :/

I once had a one-shot last ten hours. They assured me that gameplay would usually be around 4 hours. But it was clear to me that finishing in-game events was more important than sticking to an end time. I dropped that group like a hot potato.

I have an online game and an in-person game. We are all adults with jobs, no kids. We play about 3 hours. We have a hard out. Which is going to bed for our full-time jobs the next morning.

It is totally a decision not to until it's too late. It takes practice. I'm still reluctant, despite how many times it's become an emergency. But it's the responsible thing to do.

I'm an adult woman and I struggle with stopping to pee. I used to joke that my "pee sensor" was broken. In reality I ignore it until I'm stiffly walking to the bathroom. Sometimes I'll forget that I really need to pee because I'm distracted. They didn't tell me this was a thing with autism...

It's an interesting concept, I'm just confused...lol

Wait...a person dies. Another person dies by drowning. Where does the spirit go? Who is the third person involved who is still alive?

I played in a one-shot that lasted 10 hours. I was assured that we would *usually* play about 4 hours, but it was clear that finishing in-game events mattered more than sticking to an end-time. I dropped that group like a hot potato.

This is kind of wild to me because I've lived in countries where you absolutely do NOT wear outside shoes in the house. But you do wear slippers. Many homes have "guest" slippers to offer. It seems like OP has never encountered this before. Maybe get a second pair of shoes that are just worn inside.

This reminds me of "100 Places to Visit Before You Kick It". I'll go where I want. Leave me alone.

(But I do like to look at lists like that just to know.)

Yes! Know how your libraries are supported. City tax, seemingly unrelated revenue, etc. We slashed our budget because no one voted for an increase in our funding. Patrons came in surprised that our services were reduced.

Don't be surprised. Be supportive. The library is for you!

I started Ocean's Godori yesterday but I'm also halfway through King's Fairytale.

I read almost exclusively on my phone. It's much easier to read under the covers.

I was mad at Octavia Butler for years because of a choice her character made. For years! Authors have rarely affected me like that.

Our librarians put up a wholeass YA Pride display, right in view of the children. My favorite title is "Yay! You're Gay!" The children see it, regardless if they are gay or not. I'm not gay. I was once a child, and I see it. It's so crazy. We're wildin' out over here.

I haven't written a book. But I read a lot of sci-fi. Long books are much better on kindle/phone. Much easier to hold up!

I like Anne Leckie's Ancillary Justice series, NK Jemisin's Broken Earth trilogy, and I'm starting in on China Mieville. Becky Chambers writes "cozy" sci-fi. All good!
