Queer boi-ish from Buffalo. I'm a producer, composer, & DJ, as well as a full-stack developer. They/them. I bring startups to prod and make outlandish concept albums that intentionally mix-and-match genres, focused around a base of EDM & pop.
I think of an acquaintance of mine who got his PhD in a sociology after a decade. He now teaches six courses. He seems like an "elite". He sleeps on the floor in a shitty apartment in a sleeping bag and rides his bicycle (in Buffalo) everywhere, can't own a car. What an elite!

No, I'm saying i see it as disqualifying. As in the thing is its own answer, not the scenario. Have it? You don't have my support. No matter the context.

I am sure in a country as big as this you can find at least one other working-class laborer who has the correct opinions about billionaires while only having a regular level of bad life choices, not this level. (4/4)

Ego, "are Nazi tattoos disqualifying?" is to ask: do those things alone make the answer an enforced "no", no matter how many other dozen things are positive?

So there you have it. I say they are. I can accept flawed candidates, I'm a flawed person. No saints. But yes- that is disqualifying. (3/4)

e.g. "Lance Armstrong is disqualified from the Tour De France due to cheating via doping".

It doesn't also matter that he's naturally athletic, or a hard worker, or a good guy.

That single disqualifying thing is what disqualifies him. AKA the meaning of the word.
