Greenville City Council were going to vote on an ordinance that would effectively criminalize homelessness, but have thankfully postponed discussions til August 11. Thank you to everyone that showed up and keeps showing up. Make your voice heard!

After the protest I went on my regular patrol downtown, giving food, water, and clothing to those that needed it, and had a great conversation with one man about how the systems in place to help the homeless aren't doing what they should be.

Yesterday, I participated in the Mayday protest "People over Profits" hosted by @50501-sc.bsky.social and the Greenville Progressive Coalition, where over 700 people showed up to make their voices heard! Thank you all for coming out and speaking up for our rights.
