You can tax income instead of earning - eliminate all the loopholes and games. You can not tax the first 1-2M or so to help small business. You could not tax international income like most of the rest of the world.

We may lose this industry to the rest of the world over the next four years. Seems probable to me tech breakthroughs are going to make EVs the best choice for most vehicles

Add one more item to the unintended consequences of all these changes. Tourism taking a hit, US bond market taking a hit, and higher education taking a hit (huge export). Anti-globalism is attacking a complex and deep set of structures.

Max Boot's conversion away from the Republican party is still my favorite. He looked all the way back to Goldwater - and was 'shocked' to see racism behind much of the conservative movement.

This is also about prioritizing big business over small business. When large corporations pay less in taxes than my small business - that puts small business at a disadvantage. Many of the ways large corporations avoid paying taxes have nothing to do with benefits to our economy or country.

Hope this is a readable share. Goes right to the many issues being created by the anti-globalism efforts. While I'm sure some tuning and changes would be beneficial - we are stepping into the unknown in many ways.
