Unfortunately Edward was painted over by his former owner who didn’t know the value of him. They are now owned by twitter user @/TheJohnler and will be at the Awdry Extravaganza 5 in Tywyn Wales. Thank you all for reading and have a great weekend.

On the 27th of June 2025 Twitter user @/fan100_thomas made a post saying how most likely the Edward prop along with Gordon’s tender were most likely found.

The episode most likely does not exist anymore as the BBC was known to tape over old recordings.

The Dublo models were modified by P.R Wickham. James and Edward were made from N2s with new shells made from balsa wood as for Gordon and Henry they were repainted Duchess of Atholl models.
