SFXR is a pretty cool sound generator. Reminds me of those old Windows 98 programs where it would generate synth sounds. This is supposed to be for game developers but could be useful in other ways (eg drum samples in Ableton)

Testing a program called Skanpage in Fedora Linux tonight. Had to disconnect from the internet and go in direct to the printer/scanner to do this.
Whats the best #Linux program for scanning photos I wonder? I have an old Epson professional photo scanner in the loft. Tempted to drag it down and try.

Installing Fedora OS on my main SSD next to Windows 10. Let's hope I don't fuck this up.
Might still install a version of Mint too but the janky sound will be an issue.

Cost me over a grand to get, but these look like they'll be my new storage option for backing up my music. Complete overkill for home storage, but if this works I want to scan and annotate a load of family photos and videos too.

Downloaded ClamTK, a #linux antivirus and antimalware program but it appears definitions are stuck at the ones they made in 2024. Trying to update it crashes the interface. Trying a reinstall of the whole thing crashes the interface.

I'm not into most of this Black Friday bullshit. Most of its a scam, but Andertons have actually reduced the price of a fair few things. I wanted this mic for ages, but at over £2.3k I held off. Now reduced, plus loyalty points got it down to 2.1. Should be perfect for my acoustic guitar.
